Stacey Sullaphen is a dynamo, an inspiration, selfless. When the world seemed all too hard for new-mum Stacey some years ago, she decided to stand up and 'face the sun' and help other mothers suffering through the same mental hardships. Stacey is the original 'Sunny Mummy' and founder of the not-for-profit, international online community of mothers - the Sunny Mummy Sisterhood. Through the Sunny Mummy Sisterhood, resources and events, mothers are supported and encouraged to enjoy, rather than endure, motherhood.

Sunny Mummy exists to inspire, motivate and support mothers to look after themselves first, in order to look after their family best. Stacey's objective is to create the world's most positive and supportive community for mothers both online and in real life.

During the recent Queensland flood crisis, Stacey put a call out to her fellow Sunnies to donate women's products for distribution to flood-affected mothers. Under the banner Project Shine, she was inundated with goods and also raised $10,000 in cash. In a painstaking process, Stacey sorted and packaged two tonnes of donated products into hundreds of carepacks, drove them to the Lockyer Valley from her Gold Coast home, and personally hand delivered them right to those mothers in need. There were many happy tears shed on those delivery days - from both sides.

Stacey does all this good work for no financial reward, just the knowledge that she is helping other women through some of the most challenging years of their lives - the motherhood years.
